CYRS & BEERS
TICKET REFUND PLAN
Refunds will be issued ONLY if the event is fully cancelled or postponed. We’ve created the Ticket Refund Plan to give you refund options if you purchase, or have purchased tickets to CYRS & BEERS and there is a cancellation, postponement, or rescheduling due to circumstances that are out of our control.
If you have a question about the status of CYRS & BEERS, please contact us.
If CYRS & BEERS as a whole event is cancelled, no action is required to obtain a refund; we will issue a refund to the original method of payment used at time of purchase. Refunds are issued once we receive the funds from our venue deposits.
Special rules apply to certain kinds of tickets (including transfer tickets and tickets you purchased but then resold).
If a portion of the CYRS & BEERS training event is completely cancelled, partial refunds will be issued in the same manner described above. For example, if 3 days of the event takes place and then the 4th day is cancelled due to circumstances out of our control, a partial refund reflecting that 1 cancelled day will be issued.
RESCHEDULED / POSTPONED EVENTS
If any CYRS & BEERS events are postponed, rescheduled, or moved to a new location, your tickets are still valid for the new date/location and no further action is required. Please refer to the FAQs below for more information.
What circumstances would call for a full event cancellation? How about postponement or rescheduling?
Cancelling, rescheduleing, or postponement of CYRS & BEERS will only happen in scenarios that are out of our control. This would include but is not limited to natural disaters, pandemic related situations, catastrophic events, or anything that would put participants in danger.
A full event cancellation will happen if there is a compelling reason that our venue will not be available for reschedule dates.
If our venue is available for rescheduling, we will immediately set new dates for the rescheduled event.
If our venue is not available for reschedule it would then be our intention to source another exeptional venue before rescheduling the event, and this would cause postponement without a confirmed date.
What if the event is postponed/rescheduled, and I want a refund?
In the case of event postponment or rescheduling, refunds can be issued upon request. Just give us a shout (preferrably through emailing firstname.lastname@example.org)
How long will it take to get my refund?
In the case of a full event cancellation, refunds will be issued as soon as we recover any deposits placed on venues. We expect this to take no longer than 30 days. Funds should become available 3-5 business days after the issue date.
In the case of a postponement or reschedule, refund requests will be issued no later than 90 days from the request.
What if I test positive on a Covid-19 test or feel sick just before the event?
If you feel sick or test posative on a pre-event Covid-19 test, thank you for staying home and letting us know.
We recognize that this can happen and would be very frustrating. We are happy to transfer your registration fee to the next year depending on the situation. If this were to happen after the first day of the event, we can transfer your ticket.
***It is highly reccomended that you make flexible travel plans just in case something like this does happen.***
What if the event has NOT been cancelled?
Generally speaking, unless the event is cancelled or postoned, all sales are final. If the circumstance is extreme or unavoidable we will absolutely consider your situation. Please do not hesitate to reach out.
Will my travel or accommodation expenses be refunded if there is a cancellation or postponement?
We will not be able to refund any travel or accomodation expenses. Please make flexible travel plans.
Some hotels and lodging services have really great cancellation policies. We encourage you to consult directly with your accomodation and travel carriers.
