Re-Cyr-ch (Research) Grant Project

Coach Thomas Vaccaro

Canadian Circus Arts Curator, Grant Writer for The Peterborough Academy of Circus Arts, & Artistic Director

Do you want to learn how to write a grant? Do you want to leave CYRS & BEERS with a grant pretty much ready to go? This is the workshop for you.

The Re-Cyr-ch (Research) Grant Project is a limited time free workshop taking place exclusively for pass holders of Cyr’s & Beers. It is a creative, collaborative project where artists from all over the world (that’s us.) meet and share thoughts and ideas related to our artistic dreams and uses for cyr wheel on the stage, in the public, and beyond.

Since there will be so many of us cyr wheel artists in one place for a short time, this workshop is an opportunity to research and document support material for your ideas to send to granting councils for funding. It also is an opportunity to be paid honoraria for appearing as a research artist in your own work.

3 chosen re-cyr-ch applications will be produced and explored during this workshops 8 hour run, taking you through the process of how to prepare a grant application while actually creating one and getting to leave with all the materials you need to submit your grant for funding. Space for (12-16) attendees.
